Welcome to the new web site for A Room Outside. I’m Charlotte Ridley and I’ve been designing gardens in and around Newcastle for several years now, from small backyards to large mature gardens.
I’m Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) qualified and hold a National Diploma in Horticulture and a Diploma in Garden Design. I have always been passionate about plants and gardens and love the opportunity to create something special and personal for my customers that means they can make the most of their outside space. I also love interior design and enjoy bringing the same principles of style and colour into the garden with the aim of creating a room outside.
I’ve got a lot more to add to this site, including my portfolio, blog posts with advice and information, and eventually a web store selling some of my favourite things for the garden. Check back soon!
